Silhouette Photography - first efforts (kinda)

Picture Social's contest theme for March is Silhouette Photography. Have done a lot of this kind of photo taking, with the winter birds and the summer golfers. And now, first efforts for the contest. Will be looking for spectacular settings at sunrise and sunset over the course of the next few weeks.

A young cheerleader takes her turn at trimming the nets after her team's victory in a big basketball game (Girls Semistate here in the land of Hoosier Hysteria). This photo for the Monochrome Maniacs out there, many of whom make a habit of displaying a weekly b&w at Aileni's.
