Laura and Marty were down for just a few minutes and stopped in at the golf course to say hello. Heading back to Indy.

A long life

My dad passed yesterday morning after a life that spanned nine decades. May he rest in peace. (South Bend Tribune obituary here.)

Baltimore Oriole Nesting

Karry Stoll saw the bright orange of the baltimore oriole and then the nest up in the sycamore tree right there at #2 tee box. Came back with a camera after we finished our round of golf and got this photo of the nest with nary an orange spot in sight. Plentiful birds this spring: plentiful food source - bugs.

These plants either wake up in a hurry or don't really change that much between day and night. I caught them with a flash right around 10 o'clock this evening.
