Wednesday Wrap

Reminder: Senior League is sponsoring a Fun Tournament tomorrow morning: nine holes scramble, nine holes best ball, two person teams made up around 7:45, shotgun start at 8, pitch-in luncheon follows completion of play. Non Senior League players welcome to join in the fun.

Here's an interesting item from Golfweek: Maria Kostina finished last in the US Women's Open this past week. She is the first Russian to play in the tournament. Russia has 27 holes, that holes, in the entire country. Ten years ago not a single Korean on the LPGA tour, now 45. In other words, here come the Russians.

It has been a non July sort of day. Very nice for a change. More of the same tomorrow?

The world turns whether we want it to or not. Day becomes night, night becomes day. The seasons pass. So it goes...
