I gave it a rating of 4. Touching and enjoyable. These comments from a review at the link:
"The Barbarian Invasions" documents the last days in the life of a middle-aged man with cancer. He is intelligent but not wise, passionate but self-absorbed, hypercritical of others but quite tolerant of himself. An unfaithful husband, absentee father, uninspired teacher, he leaves the world having accomplished little besides indulging his senses.Hmmmm, wonder how come I enjoyed it so much?! Reviewer does mention Life as a House as a much better movie about a guy doing things with the last year of his life.
-Cubs are playing in Arizona in the post season! Hurray!
