Lonely vigil ( Watery Wednesday)

Don't expect the great blue sees it as lonely at all but rather just a little time beneath a lakeside tree on an early December afternoon. Photo taken out at West Boggs Park just north of the golf course where all the campers and picnickers have wandered off to other pursuits during the cooler weather. Good and quiet place to walk. My offering for Watery Wednesday.

Sounds like the lake up by me, nice and quiet, just a couple of men fishing on one of the piers or somone walking their dog. My Mr. Linky is working now. Have a great Watery Wednesday! :-) If you haven't done so you can add your name to the list now.

It looks a great place for a good walk and that picnic table looks very inviting. Nice capture of the heron. A beautiful photograph all round.

One must really enlarge this to get the full effect.
It looks so serene.
Loved the title!

Great shot! When I get that close to a Great Blue, they usually fly away :-)
