And then there was the basketball game itself. A humdinger, a barn burner, a back yard brawl. It all came down to the last minute, the last second. The 'heavily' favored Vikings prevailed on a put back by Willie Helms of a missed shot by Trey Hughes as time ran out. Final score: 30-28.

Barr Reeve and North Daviess won their games against Vincennes Rivet and Washington Catholic and meet tonight for the sectional championship.
