Roofless Bluebird Nesting Box

The nesting box, which has been used this year, lost its top sometime this summer. Best get it replaced - never know when that bluebird with all the happiness might wander by and want to stay a while. (Click on photo to enlarge.) For the Monochrome Weekly theme and all its followers. More b&w's from around the world here.

Such a peaceful sight! Invite the birds and their songs - human hands transforming nature to bring the best of it. Beautiful Mono!

I love the feel of this shot. Some of my nesting boxes are starting to show their age too.

I enjoy shots with lots of textures, and this one is great. If I reached out and touched it, I might get a splinter.

Very nice picture of an old nesting box.
Hopefully the bluebird will find its nest with roof when returning :)
