Another Eagle Sighting
This one between Avoca and Springville as we were returning home from the Indy Golf Show yesterday. The big bird was examining something in the road when we came rolling up and it decided it was better to get out of the way rather than rely on Diane to swerve off the road to avoid a mini collision. Just happened to have my camera at the ready.

Movie, Book and Hindostan Falls Today
-Watched a movie this afternoon with Diane: The Merry Gentleman with Kelly MacDonald and Michael Keaton. Excellent - got five stars from me.
-Finished Willy Lindwer's The Last Seven Months of Anne Frank. Excellent portraits, in their own words, of six women who knew Anne Frank during the seven months from her capture to her death. It's the stories of these women who faced the Nazis and their death camps and survived. Very powerful.
-Went up to Hindostan Falls (go here for the tragic tale of Hindostan Falls) to look for some good photographs. Will see what I got directly.
And I also took a guitar down to Main Music to be fixed up before I pass it on to grandson Lucas. The guitar was passed on to me by Kevin Collins earlier this winter.

More Saturday Night Photos from Shoals
Loogootee cheerleaders and I think that's Wilma up in the stands trying to see what is going on across the court.
If it didn't go in, good chance for an offensive rebound, don't you think?

Saturday Night in Shoals
Young ladies wandering the halls at the Shoals/Loogootee boys basketball game last night.
Bryant Ackerman launching one just before the end of the first half. Garret Bateman defends.
Bryant's shot was all net.
Shoals students are mostly smiles, at least in this photo, even though the game quickly became a Lion rout. Final score: 69-34.
