33 brick street

Jim, Wilma and Diane are mere reflections in this photo taken last Friday when we went down to French Lick to have lunch at 33 brick street. It's a sports bar and has a bunch of sports memoribilia around and about. The '33', of course, is the number of Boston Celtic great and French Lick legend, Larry Bird (no relation of the author). Food was good, company was excellent.

I love b&w shots with tables and chairs in them - for some reasons they always make me think of students in Parisian cafes in the 1960s!

Runkerry House was once the home of some Lord and his family, back in the 19th century until the 1950s. When I was younger (mid-1990s) it was empty - everytime we passed it, my mum would whisper that it had been a retirement home and was haunted. Just recently though, a bit was added unto the side (the bit in the foreground of my shot) and the whole building divided up into apartments. I think many are only holiday homes - and during these colder months, the shutters are closed, and it is empty again :)

Great shot, Micheal. I don't know about your branch of the family, but Bob's contains all short people, he's the tallest at 5'11". A connection to the BB great, never entered my mind!
