Lawyers as Heroes, Pat Summitt, Reminders

...there is another kind of military hero who isn't going to be fawned over by senators and awarded medals by president Bush --- the military lawyers who risked their careers and freedom to defend the constitution against the lawless actions of the Bush department in this misbegotten War on Terror. And there have been a few.

-the college basketball coach with the most wins ever gets herself another championship. This is one amazing coach: at age 55, she has 983 victories and 8 championships. Wow! (Tennessee beats Stanford in the ladies version of March Madness; Coach is Pat Summitt.)

-I got an email from Hillary's campaign informing me I can vote early, even by mail. Might just do that.

-Don't forget to pay your taxes. Wish more of my tax dollars were going for social benefits rather than military hardware.
