More Monochrome Monday: Mallards, Belgians and a Hilltop Barn

A couple of the more 'flighty' mallards decided not to stick around to have their photo taken.

Several other Belgians were with these two enjoying their time in the corn field.

Seems like everything here wants to bend and sway and swirl except for the utility poles.

Still no active link to Monochrome Maniacs but it was enjoyable doing a day of black and whites. Of course, the weather was very Decemberish with lots of different shades of gray, lending itself to just such an activity. Tuesday morning update: The Monochrome Monday Maniacs can now be found here at Loose Ends. Hurray!

I like the third shot very much. You don't want those poles bending or swirling.

The third shot is definitely my favorite. I love those old barns and rustic scenes. Plus, the bare tree against the cloudy sky makes an excellent backdrop for the scene as a whole.

These are all good monochrome shots. I like the last one of the barn so much. Thanks for visiting mine. It's pretty cold now but I was posting one from three months when it was still warm.

Nice shot. I really like old barns in b/w.
