After having breakfast with Diane and Jim and Wilma and Eric and Colleen at the Essen House in Oden, came home for just a bit before taking off for Loogootee. Had to see Joe at the post office and Duane at the grocery store - saw Mr. Ed there too. And along the way squeezed in about an hour of walking around and about Loogootee. Which is where the three dogs and the horse come in. The three dogs were very concerned about my walking on their sidewalk but dared not venture out beyond some invisible line in their yard. I stopped and encouraged them to come over and say hello - nothing doing, pal, staying right here. The horse wasn't as vocal as the dogs but did give me the eye and a come hither look. I did just that and stood about and chatted with it for just a bit before going on with the business at hand - get some milk, mail some packages.
