Notes on a Sunday Morning

-Frank Rich at the NY Times online sets the record straight with They Sure Showed That Obama. Guess what - it ain't what you've been hearing on the television or from all the talking Republican heads.

-Eric gave me a heads up on this article, In Japan’s Stagnant Decade, Cautionary Tales for America, again from the NY Times, which gives us a pretty good example of what happened in Japan with their banking crisis. Will we follow in its footsteps and not take the necessary hard steps early or be timid which could result in years of more trouble? I suggest hard line and transparency for the banks and an early correction to the troubles.

-Check out this Alfie Goodrich site. I like the new photos reached by actually turning the page. Nifty, both for the technology and the beauty of the photography. Here's another stunning photo from Alfie.

-Haven't mentioned Boxman in a while. He's still posting beautiful b&w's, currently from the Philippines. Here's one of many.

-Diane is having breakfast and watching Face the Nation. Best go join her.
