Kravitz on Knight

From the Indy Star and Bob Kravitz: I especially like this line where Kravitz is pondering just why BK left the basketball world in the middle of a season:
At some point, a man in the sunset of his existence has to wonder, "Why am I spending another beautiful day inside a gym, recruiting kids who don't appreciate what I have to offer them?"

And is this really true?
...he spent these final few years coaching in a place where men's basketball still doesn't matter. West Texas is football country, first and foremost. And when it comes to basketball, the women's team routinely draws more than the men...

The women's team outdraws the men's? What a comedown...

Speaking about beautiful days, about time for a couple of those in this neck of the woods.
