Saturday Wrap: Neighbor scenes, golf, movie

Diane and I did drive around the lake and we did take some pictures. Got back just in time to scoot out to the golf course and get into a game of 6-6-6 with Doug, Dave, Short, Ron and Jack. It was swell being out swinging the clubs and chasing the golf balls though I must admit there were plenty of ugly shots - February golf when everything is a bit unsettled and that would include the ground we walk on as well as the rhythm in our golf swings that has been out in the back room for far too long. Did I mention muscles that also had laid dormant for far too long as well? Everybody did have something to brag about: a long drive, a well hit iron, a nice chip, a good putt. Try again tomorrow. And Monday. And Tuesday. (Hope is alive and well...)

Dinner and a movie when I got home - Diane's stew was delicious with a distinct rosemary flavor. Movie was ok, not super: Army of Shadows, a 1969 movie about the French Resistance during WWII. Slow moving and way too many scenes in the dark. Hate that when directors use darkness. Gave it a rating of three.

Tiger falls back behind Els and Stenson in Dubai. Oh oh.
