Book: Randy Pausch's The Last Lecture
The Last Lecture, given to Diane by Jim Bateman, is a book of lessons for life written by a man soon to be dead of pancreatic cancer. Randy Pausch uses the book as a way to say something about his life and in so doing hoping that his three young children, six years old and younger, will someday have something to see, and possibly learn from, that was their Dad. It's a good read though sometimes the author does seem very full of himself, something which he admits was an early character flaw. Have your hanky near by as tears are bound to spill over on your way through this little book.
