Mondays at the Golf Course

Mid morning now, sun is up and the wind is gusting at a pretty good clip. Lots of seniors out early taking advantage of the very nice weather. Junior was out mowing the surrounds; Diane was out getting in a few holes of practice; Eric is trying to spray but having trouble with a safety switch on his tractor: keeps shutting him down when he tries to get into gear. Anna Mosby down with a friend from Odon; I keep telling her I see Lloyd up there on his bench above #3 green keeping an eye on us.

Other News of Note

-Newt Gingrich decides not to put his hat into the race for Republican presidential nomination.
-Christian Coalition thinking about splintering.
-Ken Burns' The War continues but we missed it - no signal.
-quote from a comment on The War: "Men will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest." ~ Diderot Hmmm, do you agree with that? I would think that most Americans would not as they live with kings and priests and not under their thumbs.

Gotta go...
