Monday Morning Politics

Meteor Blades at dKos blast Colin Powell for his latest attempt at excusing himself from the Iraqi mess. Powell, darling of the center and even some of the left, preferred loyalty and lies to truth telling and serving the American people. Major disappointment and he too has a place reserved in that ring of hell where politicians who do dastardly things (hmmm, do you think it's crowded down there?) spend eternity paying the price. Which reminds me of Libby, temporarily freed from the ignominy of being incarcerated, well he too will get his just reward.

Monday Morning Sports

K.J. Choi wins the first Tiger tournament. The other gender from South Korea is heard from - that's cool. Tiger gives tribute to the soldiers and that is cool too. (I noticed passing the American Legion yesterday that the plaque on the NE corner pays tribute to "veterans of all wars". Did I miss the "American"? Does the American Legion really pay homage to the world's veterans? Cool if it did. War is still stupid though...)

Monday Morning at Lakeview

Eric and Lucas and Jim out there getting the course ready; I'm in the clubhouse borrowing the computer since there is no way Diane's computer would be available to the likes of me early on a morning. (Yes, I miss my laptop...) Should be lots of good golf out here today, as there was yesterday. Here's another reminder: Tuesday Boyz Club plays here tomorrow starting at 8:30; you are welcome to join us for the 18 hole scramble.

So it goes for the moment.
