Comments:
-no changes at the top today. Come on, guys, we need to rattle the chains a little and shake things up. Charlie Sheetz had another good day and tied for low net second place with John Chapman.
-Jack Lents: low gross with a 37 and a hole prize.
-Vic Wallace: low net with a 27; he played super as did Richard Swayze. The two of them took me out to the woodshed and whoomped me. Not nice.
-Susan Eyler subs for 2nd week in row, goes home rich with a hole prize for longest putt. Do not, I repeat, do not ask how long the putt was as it turned out to be the longest of 60 some players there on #8.
-Jack Butcher's first shot today missed being a hole-in-one on #3 by inches. Golf Goddess a little late in getting to Loogootee.
-Diane Bird had a terrible round. Again, don't ask.
-Jim and Wilma Bateman are back from Arizona where it is really hot, like 122 degrees. You know Wilma loves the sun. Get enough sun, Wilma? I bet she did.
-thanks to all who signed the card for Betty Foster.

Reminder: Next Thursday is the Fun Scramble, 18 holes followed by a pitch-in luncheon. Guests are invited - the more the merrier. Teams will be made up at 7:45am.
