Friday Follies

Mid morning here at the golf course and a storm just passed over us giving us a little rain along with some thunder and lightning. Stopped for now and the radar shows the rest of it might pass to the south of us. Might be a plenty good day for knocking the ball around and about the place.

Community Leaguers Morris and Mark Cornelius were stopped by the storms - the three of us got ourselves over to Martha's place (Stolls Lakeview Restaurant) for coffee and a sweet roll (one every five years or so is okay and it was yummy) and watched the rain fall while we looked around for a world problem to solve. Found plenty to choose from, so many in fact that we decided to concentrate on the sugar and caffein and let the day take care of itself. Kind of like the sparrow in the tree.
