Monday with the Birds

Presidential Politics

Still way too early to get all excited about presidential politics but here is a short quick story from the BBC on last night's Democrat debate. From the article:

"...in general the Democrats remained keen to present a united front, perhaps none more so than Hillary Clinton who remains ahead in the national polls and seems likely to remain so after another assured performance, our correspondent says."

More and more you read and hear that Hillery is the front runner and likely nominee for the Democrats. You ready? Best make yourself ready. We very well might be joining a large part of the rest of the world in electing a woman to lead us. Wonder why it has taken us so long?

Community League Results

Will be posted about mid morning.

The Big Leagues in Golf

Lorena Ochoa goes to 0 and 4 in playoffs; loses the Ginn Tribute to Castrale on extra hole. Not a good finish for the best lady golfer around. Very good finish for Nicole Castrale.

K.J. Choi wins the Memorial. Watching this yesterday afternoon was just great fun. Lots of good shots, clutch putts by several players, a run of birdies by a youngster, and the super tension of Choi making putt after putt to hold on to the lead and get the win. All at one heck of a beautiful venue.

Diane is getting up and I've got to get going. Just another good day for golf in our neck of the woods. Come on out and say hello and go for that elusive hole-in-one you've been dreaming about.
