Golfing and Other Things

Picture: Lucas after hitting tee shot on #9 today. It went right of the green where his Opa's and his Dad's balls were.

Community League

Diane Bird and Shirley Jeffers were out this morning as were Bob Norris and Clyde Wake. Diane came in with a very respectable 49 but was very disappointed as she lost five strokes on the final two holes with a triple bogey and then a double bogey. Bob was very happy with his 46 even going so far to say that he is getting good. You're already good, Bob.

Course was full of golfers this morning doing their best to whack that little ball well. I do kid the golfers about the 'no hole-in-one' rule today as we are all waiting till next Saturday for that magic moment to visit someone at Lakeview. That would be five Saturdays in a row. Crossing your fingers? I didn't think so.

Guess the world is turning okay as we speak; lets hope it continues to do so.
