More Sunday Funnies

Pictures: Chipping and putting at #4 earlier today - Dane Mosby and Joe Allen; Scott Arthur watching. The putt did drop.

In Iraq, more and more people dying. A surge in mortality. Of course, that's all to be expected since it's summer and we're sending in more and more Americans whose task it is to quell the violence. Hmmm. Time to defund the craziness. Well, actually that time has long gone; but now it is really the time to defund. Any body in Washington got the moral and ethical and political strength to do it? or even stand up and say it needs doing? I keep flashing back to 1968 and Nixon running on a peace plank, in ending the craziness in Vietnam, and then doing quite the opposite with the majority of the dead Americans coming under Nixon's watch. I expect the majority of the Vietnamese as well but don't recall ever reading that that is the case. We definitely do not want history repeating itself. Right? Right. (What ring of Dante's Hell is reserved for the leaders of nations who rain death and destruction down on the innocents of the world?)

Eric tried watching the Cavs last night; kept falling asleep. He told me it was on TNT. Wow. What happened to major network coverage? Finals only? Are they doing the finals?

Tiger even through 6 at the Memorial and still at -4. He'll be done by the time coverage starts this afternoon. Darn. Pampling at -15 and a 3 stroke lead; starts in an hour.

Lorena Ochoa also has a 3 stroke lead at the Ginn Tribute.

Sun is out; course is lovely. Church services ending. Good time to go golf. Look for USG League results this evening; Community League by noon tomorrow though will try to get them up tonight. Okay, go golf now.
