-no change at the top: George Templin (37) and Don Nolan (48) increase their lead in the Team competition; John Drake still on top in Individual competition.
-Super sub Mark Potts goes low with a 32 and is now averaging 33 over his last five rounds (his handicap is +2).
-a trio at 34: Junior Byron (he had a good day with morning win with the Boyz), Phil Eyler and Mike Kidwell.
-a trio shot net 29 to share low net for the week: Virgil Harper, Dan Steiner and Dean Winkler.
Next week will see week one of the long ball competition. Those wanting to participate will sign up, pay entrance fee, and have a go at hitting the ball a mile up number six fairway. Area of play will be between the cart path on the right and the emergency spillway median on the left. Competition will last through the final three weeks of the season with the long ball for the week being marked with some indelible marking material (paint) so that marker can be placed for second and third weeks. Winner of the longest ball in the designated area during the three week competition is declared winner and receives money prize. Entrance fee to be determined and will be posted before play next Tuesday.
