Wednesday's This and That

Sports of Course

-Bonds not in a hurry but gets the crown all to himself. Guy throwing the pitch? Mike Bacsik of the Washington Nationals threw up an 86 mph fastball (?) Hank Aaron broke Babe's record in 1974 after the 714 had lasted for 39 years; Barry erases 755 after 33 years. I expect all three men were in their 40's (Hank had just turned 40 in February of 1974) when they hit their last home run; so who's the ten year old out there right now with his eye on the prize? Or will Arod pass Bonds in less than ten years? And how much longer does Barry play?
-From the BBC: Woods ready to end major duck in Oklahoma. Major duck?! Cool.

Another hot and steamy day. You won't get cooled at the golf course but it would be cool to see you there. I'll be there this morning and this evening. Drop in and say hi before you go out and go after that elusive hole-in-one.

The world turns in case you forgot. We are playing our part even though we may not have the foggiest notion as to what that might be. Oh well, on with it then.

hmmm, all golfers; classy golfers at that. looks like three kidwells and an allen. i bet there's a foddrill off to the right smacking a ball off to the right. maybe the left. golf bags: i'm surprised there's even one up there. i bet it was trenton showing off his youthful strength and endurance. could be wrong though.
