Senior Leaguers off and running this morning with the Team competition hot and heavy. Weather hot and steamy. Should be three good matches for the three teams at the top: Norris and Potts up against DeLong and Wallace; Hudson and Rayhill versus Pearl and Foster; and Lannan and Harper in a struggle against Swayze and Sheetz. Other matches of note: Diane and Wilma looking to trash Mike; Judy Walker standing in for Jack Butcher and with Rex going up against the likes of Jim Bateman and Jack Lents, that would be Jim Bateman, the guy with the magic in the irons.
In Individual competition, Charlie Sheetz intends to end it all early. Almost any number might just do that with his 112 point lead going into today's play. Second place up for grabs with Dave Strange sitting pretty at the moment; could be different by about 10:15 this morning. Lots of contenders for the glory of second place in the standings.
Fairways still hard; scores expected to be low.
